Traveling is weird.

So we have woken up at noon for the past two days and after hiking around for about three hours today we were ready to go back to the apartment and drink wine for the rest of the night. That's due to jet lag, right? Today we walked the Tuileries and down the Champs Elysees where we caught the end of some type of military parade. Lots of guys on horses, anyway. We stopped into a few different shops and also some big ones like Louis Vuitton. We also went to Sephora where Casey put on some makeup and perfume. We walked down to the Arc de Triomphe and then had lunch/dinner near the Arc. By that time, we had walked to the point that we were done. I think it's time for us to learn to use the Metro. And for Casey to not wear uncomfortable shoes. She looks good, though. She is being influenced by the fashion channel, which isn't in english, but they don't speak so its one of the few we watch. The walk back to our place at dusk was really amazing. Watching Paris light up at night is one of the best things about this trip. Now it is wine, BBC, and other various things we picked up at votre marche.
