Holy Jet Lag...

Bonjour!

We have arrived in Paris. The ride here was rather taxing. The wine flowed like water (free of charge!?!?) on the flight to Frankfort. This was a blessing and a curse. Massive consumption of airline complimentary wine does not treat you well when you stir from passing out (as opposed to sleeping) with international connections to make and language barriers abound. Did I mention that when we arrived to Germany they had a terror scare and we were ushered forcefully (by American military) to a different part of the terminal. A frightening experience. All travel hassles aside we now rest peacefully in our teeny tiny Parisian apartment. I am not sure if we have had a chance to eat today and not too sure what today is or what the "time" is. From what I could gather from our taxi roller coaster ride to the apartment this city is unbelievably beautiful and expansive. From the window of our apartment we can see innumerable old buildings, churches, and museums. It is early evening and the city is aglow with activity.  After some necessary rest we are going to take this city by storm, paint the town red, and any other cliches I can muster.
